Job vacancies in North Lincolnshire will provide hundreds of job vacancies for job seekers

More than 40 local employers have signed up for the North Lincolnshire 2021 job fair next week, with hundreds of vacancies in their books.

Ongo, 2 Sisters, KFC, Rebus Upholstery and British Steel are just some of the famous names looking to meet job seekers at Baths Hall on Tuesday, October 19, from 2.30pm to 7pm.

They will be joined by other major employers from retail, hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, the public sector, and health and social care at the largest job fair ever seen in the region.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their resume and be prepared to attend an on-site interview — meaning they can quit their jobs.

In the afternoon, the National Career Service will conduct a series of resumes and interviews.

They will give up-to-date tips and advice on presenting your best side to potential employers, as well as help boost your confidence and self-esteem.

Job seekers can reserve seats for sessions through the vacancy center or talk to exhibition staff that day who will pick them up in the first place.

The exhibition is aimed at people who want to return to work after the pandemic, young people who are breaking into the career market for the first time, and anyone who just wants more money in their pockets at the end of the month.

There will also be targeted consultations on barriers to employment, including childcare, transportation and mental health.

Interlocutor Rob Waltem, leader of the North Lincolnshire Council, said: “There are a lot of jobs available across the district, and the same number of people are looking for work.

“We also see that because of the competitive market, employers are fighting hard to attract good people, so there has never been a better time for people to change their future.”

The event will take place on Tuesday, October 19, from 2.30pm to 7pm at The Baths Hall, Doncaster Road, DN15 7RG.

The bath has a strict policy of protection against Covid.
